Do you offer automated recurring billing to my credit card?

Yes!  Our system is designed to have our customers be on automated billing to the credit card or debit card of their choice. 


How can I rent a unit?

Our website is very user friendly and intuitive.  Most find the online rental process to be a very simple step by step process.   First, select the size of unit you desire from the website.   Once you fill out your personal information, your info will be applied to your Rental Lease Agreement.   You will fill in your method of payment with the credit card of your choice.   

What information is required to rent a storage unit?

You will need the following information to rent a storage unit:
  • Your full legal name
  • Your Date of Birth
  • Your current physical mailing address.  (PO Box is not acceptable)
  • A current E-mail address
  • Your cell phone number
  • Tenant will provide photo of front of their Driver's License and make sure to sign rental agreement to make contract legally binding.
  • Take a picture of your driver's license with your phone's camera and send photo via a text message to:  715-255-0027.   

What type of payment methods do you accept? And how are we billed?

We accept payment account types of:
  • MasterCard
  • VISA
  • First month's rent will be prorated unless started on the 1st of month. 
  • All future monthly payments will be due on the 1st of each month


Why do I see the name "Forward Creative Services LLC" on documents or monthly rental charges?

Forward Creative Services LLC is our corporate legal name.  You will most likely find this name on all legal business forms and documentation as well as your monthly rental charges for your storage unit.  Kronenwetter Storageā„¢ is our TradeMarked name for our business.   Any legal documentation or items related to billing may be in our corporate name of Forward Creative Services LLC. 

Do I need my own lock?

Yes.  You must provide your own cylinder lock.  If choosing the Tenant Protection Plan it is required that you use a cylinder lock. 

Do you require a notice period before vacating the unit?

Yes.  The Lessee, must provide a minimum of 30-day notice to Kronenwetter Storage informing us of your desire to vacate your unit.  You can officially inform us of your desire to vacate at our email address of:  mike@kronenwetter-storage.com
The unit must be fully cleaned and swept out with nothing left in it and free of any damage to the unit.    

Is there a minimum rental term?

Yes.  If choosing a month to month lease, the Tenant agrees to rent for a minimum 2-month term. Payments will be charged monthly.   The agreement will then automatically renew as month to month thereafter.   

How do I update my personal information or my payment information?

Any updating needed to your personal information or credit card, you can simply call us or email us with the information that needs to be updated. 

Do you require insurance?

No. However, Forward Creative Services LLC, dba Kronenwetter Storage, is not responsible for any loss, damage, theft or acts of God to your property while on our premises.  We strongly suggest the Tenant has their own home and/or renters insurance policy on their belongings.  


You have received an "over-lock" on your unit due to non-payment, and cannot access your unit. What do you need to do?

You will receive an over-lock on your unit if for any reason you were more than 7 days late on a monthly payment. 
Once you have been notified of your over-lock, simply pay your total amount due within 7 days and you will be given a code to open and remove your over-lock.   You can return this over-lock to our 'Lock Drop-Box' which is placed on the outside of our office, located on site.
